1. Everything runs on your device
Toolcado runs entirely in your browser, using Canvas, web APIs and local JavaScript. Images, files and text you put into a tool are processed on your device and never uploaded to our servers or to any third party.
2. The Favicon Checker is different
It is the one tool that cannot work locally: a browser cannot read another site’s HTML directly, so our server fetches the URL you enter and returns the markup. The page is read to answer your check and is not stored.
3. Cookies and local storage
We use local storage only to remember preferences such as your theme. Nothing there is used to track you across sites.
4. Server logs
Like most sites, our CDN records ordinary anonymous request logs — IP address, browser type and time of request — used only to keep the service available and to block abuse.
